Tomáš Dianiška: THE BODY OF A SECRET AGENT
Hana Krupková hails from the East Bohemian town of Chotěboř. She is stunning, and she is well aware of her attributes. Hana marries Václav, and they want to live a happy life, but unfortunately, they live in bad times. But Hana is beautiful, and beauty can be a currency. Regimes change, and the Krupks live under constant threat. Hana must rely on her body to ensure survival for both herself and her husband.
A docu-fiction play based on the real character from Czechoslovak history, Hana Krupková, about the power to survive under any regime. Tomáš Dianiška is among the most successful contemporary playwrights. He directs his own texts, and a sarcastic view of Czech history is typical for him, allowing him to depict iconic moments of Czech history with exaggeration and humor.
The performance lasts 2:00 with an intermission.
