The play by American playwright Neil LaBute tells the story of a young art student, Evelyn, who is completing her thesis. A shy young man, Adam, enters her life and falls for her limitlessly. In his eyes, Evelyn is absolutely perfect, while Adam feels anything but perfect.

Can such a relationship even work? What do Adam's friends think about it? Why is image important to society? And does the number of likes someone has really matter? Why are we obsessed with THE SHAPE OF THINGS?
