David Drábek: CLOVERLEAF
A legendary performance for audiences of all generations!
Forget about the division into sanguine, choleric... no. Generations of children debated who was Fifinka, who was Pinďa, who was Myšpulín, and who was Bobík! The author and director of the production, David Drábek, considers one of his greatest life achievements to be this: "We had a gang and cast those four roles. And I was chubby and all Bobík. But I wanted so much to play Myšpulín that I persuaded the others that a skinny boy with protruding incisors was the best fit for Bobík. From that moment, it was clear that I would grow up to be either a politician or a director." The history of the legendary four cartoon friends began in 1969 when twenty-four-year-old Jaroslav Němeček appeared in the editorial office of Orbis publishing house with the first story, titled The Invention of Prof. Myšpulín. Initially, he did not at all anticipate that the adventures of Čtyřlístek could have any sequels, but the great interest of the readers demanded more. And since then, this comic has become an absolutely fundamental guide through our childhood, not only in the seventies and eighties. We all traveled in imagination to Třeskoprsk and to Blaťák, to the Middle Ages and to the depths of the ocean. We now have for you a potpourri of all essential fetishes: robots, shrinking pills, and yetis will not be missing!
The performance duration is 1:30 with an intermission.
